Are You Giving Your Dog a Heat Stroke?

Follow these guidelines to keep your favorite canine safe and healthy during the hot summer months: You are better in the heat than your loyal friend. Remember that dogs depend on rapid breathing (panting) to cool their body down by exchanging warm air for cool air. Consequently if the outside temperature is close to as warm as their body temperature their panting is not effective at cooling them down.
Knowing the minimum number of jumps to start your dog training with is critical. Some folks miss by aiming too low and end up short changing the dog! Pushing the limits too far can bad, you should know when to stop. The gap between the minimum and the maximum is covered with gradual exercise. Patience and persistence as with everything in life, guarantees good results.
